We are looking for a “SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER” for our global and multinational company, which is one of the leading companies in the automotive industry, located in Bursa with the following qualifications. This position is directly reporting to General Manager and indirect reporting to European Headquarter.

• University or Master’s Degree in Economics, Engineering, Operations,
• 5 years leading and professional experience in SCM (Supply Chain Management), Logistics,  Manufacturing, Operations, Purchasing and/or Sales
• Project management experience in major SCM projects
• Good command of English (German is an asset as second language.),
• Experienced in working successfully on an international level in projects,
• Good command of PC skills (especially MS Office Applications and SAP)
• Good communication and negotiation skills, team work, time and stress management, presentation skills
• Residence in Bursa (or to be able to relocate)
• Military service is done for male candidates.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The mission of the position is to lead, plan, coordinate, implement and control all supply chain activities and functions to meet budget and supply chain targets (e.g. maximize delivery performance, reduce cost and inventories) and to represent the plant/operations unit towards internal and external contacts regarding SCM topics. The Supply Chain Manager initiates, manages and implements action plans for continuous improvement of all supply chain relevant processes.

Strategy development

• Define BU SCM Mission and Vision and Principles
• SCM Risk Management
• SCM Training & Qualification
• SCM Plant Strategy
• Customer supply concepts (Transportation, Warehousing, Processes)

SCM Standards and Optimization

• SCM Customer and Supplier Process Improvement
• SCM facility concept design (e.g. greenfield, standard transportation and storage (fork lift, shelves))
• SCM freight & warehouse tendering together with purchasing
• SCM BU KPI and scorecard definition and monitoring
• Definition and Implementation of SCM systems, methods & standards together with Group SCM (SCM 4.0)
• SCM  IT systems, master data control and harmonisation together with Group SCM and Group IT
• Internal Network Design (internal log. Flow, Manufacturing, WH, Transport, ICO, Subcontracting)
• SCM Planning Process by identifying and aggregating of raw material, production and customer requirements

Operative

• Long Term Capacity Planning (mid & long term with effects on investment planning)
• SCM Budget Planning (incl. Operative Planning, Inventory)
• BU SCM Target Setting & Deployment
• BU SCM KPI monitoring (e.g. delivery performance monitoring, inventory, etc.)
• Short-, Mid and Long-term Demand Planning based on Sales Forecast in collaboration with segments (process ownership)
• Sales and Operations Planning: Reviewing and balancing of resources and capabilities (Source/Make/Deliver)
• Demand and capacity planning mid-term (next 1-6 months) for all BU plants (in collaboration with production and sales)
• Demand and capacity planning long term (next 1-5 years) for all BU plants (in collaboration with production and sales)
• Synchronization and establishment of sourcing, production and delivery plans
• Heading the department freight and exports; material handling from warehouse to shipping
• SCM supplier improvement
• Inventory management (Source, Make, Deliver; etc.)
• SAP SCM BU Keys User (optional)
• Support complaint management QM 
• SCM cost controlling (freight departments, warehousing, freight, special freight etc.)
• Warehouse and Service Provider Management
