Kale Pratt & Whitney has a total of 16.250 m2 facilities in Aegean Free Zone; the company is one of the leading aviation companies in Turkey and its facilities contain many special processes. The company was founded with a 51% Kale Group and 49% Pratt & Whitney partnership, its main field of activity is the manufacturing of aircraft engine parts and subassembly groups.

We are looking for a ‘Quality Engineer’ for our company which produces aircraft engine parts in Aegean Free Zone, Izmir.

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering,
• Minimum 5 years experience in Quality Area,
• Knowledge in quality system such as ISO 9001 or ISO 16949 (AS-9100 is asset),
• Proficient using Microsoft Office,
• Good knowledge of GD&T and inspection methods,
• Good knowledge of problem solving tools (8-D, Ishikawa, 5Why) ,
• Good written and oral communication skills in English,
• Strong oral and written communication skills,
• Team work ability in a multicultural organization,
• Having a valid driving licence & no obstacle for travelling,
• No military service obligation for male candidates.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Performance of FAI (First Article Inspection) inspections and filling out AS9102 forms,
• Conduct Quality Engineering related activities such as process flow charting, problem investigation/analysis, standards and procedure updating/development, report writing, and presentation development in support of daily activities,
• Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes,
•  PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and Control Plan preparation,
• Conduct Quality system and special process audits as required,
• Determines new equipments such as control fixtures, special inspection gages by checking the customer specifications for parts,
• Supporting lean manufacturing system,
• Providing overall leadership for quality and reliability of products,
• Identifying root cause through data analysis for preventive and corrective actions,
• Taking active role at new part launches.
