Kastamonu Entegre Headquarters is looking for a "Demand Planning Specialist (Laminate Flooring)" in Global Supply Chain Directorate. The position is based in Altunizade, Istanbul.

Responsibilities:

Demand Planning

• Lead monthly Demand Planning process of the responsible categories and collaborative S&OP discussions with Sales and Marketing teams,
• Analyze and Clean m-1 sales with Sales teams to record uplifts and create Baseline,
• Create statistical forecast for upcoming 18 months,
• Finalize consensus of short-term sales forecast at enrichment meetings with Sales team; disaggregate and release forecast at SKU level,
• Determine product segmentation, finished product stock policies to support stock management structure,
• Carry out stock optimization studies to balance availability,
• Monitor actual sales and demand changes during the active month to coordinate the supply planning,
• Drive consistent forecast accuracy across categories and locations,
• Review data in system through the products’ lifecycyle.

Production Planning

• Develop short, mid and long term production plans for finished good products
• Finalize the result of SAP-APO optimization per net demand requirements to support finished good production
• Set reports to communicate the production dates and finished goods availability to all interested parties
• Analyze mid to long term capacity constraints and provide recommendations to proactively resolve the constraints
• Develop solutions and scenarios for unmet demand and orders; achieve Customer Service Level
• Proactively communicate with Sales when availability issues arise that will impact order fulfillment; provide projected backorders and delivery dates
• Set up and maintain Master Data accuracy within SAP-APO Planning System to increase the accuracy of optimization
• Work closely with Supply Planners to guarantee material availability
• Partner with Demand Planners, Factory Production Planners and Sales on a day to day basis,
• Monitor adherence to plan and handle routine problems; seek assistance from senior level planners or management as needed
• Responsible for semi-finished products’ inventory and stock policy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from a Leading University.
• Proficient in using MS Office applications and SAP
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• Strong communication, solid problem solving skills and customer & result oriented approach
• Having no restriction to travel.

Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in demand planning.
