QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Ulsan Şirketler Grubu operates globally in the defence, mining, energy, media and construction sectors.

Ulsan Şirketler Grubu is looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance function and drive international growth both in Turkey and globally.

Job Description

  • Managing the financial management of the company, including cash flow management, cost management, budget management, management reporting, bank financing, financial accounting, financial reporting, tax filings and tax and legal compliance
  • Support the operations of overseas group companies
  • Participate in the formulation of the company's growth strategy and provide support and advice on strategic planning through financial analysis and cash flow forecasting
  • Organise the preparation of the company's annual financial budget and business plan
  • Strengthen the company's KPI management to improve operational efficiency, ownership of the monthly P&L with particular emphasis on cash flow and balance sheet
  • Participate in the company's investment, financing, M&A and other key business decisions. Participate in the business negotiation, decision making and planning of investment and financing projects
  • Manage the annual budget and strategic planning process. 


Required Qualifications

  •  Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in accounting, finance, economics or business administration
  • Minimum of 15 years' work experience in finance, with at least 5 years' experience as a CFO in a manufacturing and/or mining company
  • Experience in a mining/manufacturing/engineering company with international reach preferred
  • Ability to communicate at a high level in English, both verbally and in writing, including analytical presentations
  • Advanced skills in financial modelling and reporting
  • ERP implementation experience is an advantage
  • Good interpersonal, leadership and multicultural skills Previous experience demonstrating ability to manage people is highly desirable
  • Knowledge and experience of IFRS, GAAP, financial accounting & budgeting, treasury management
  • No travel restrictions
